AB Pacific Weekly Pool and Spa Service

Tile Scrubbing

Tile Scrubbing minimizes scale build-up and keeps debris off the sides of your pool.

Surface Netting

We collect wind blown material and insects off the surface of the water.

Weekly Vacuuming

Will keep the heavier debris that sinks to the pools bottom out of your pool on a weekly basis. This service is available if you do not already have an automatic pool sweep.

Wall Brushing

Performed on a weekly basis, wall brushing keeps material and scale from accumulating over time. Once a month or as needed, the walls of your pool will be brushed with a half-nylon / half-steel brush that removes the more stubborn deposits from your pool?s sides.

Water Balance Testing

Without question, proper water balance is the MOST important factor in caring for your pool. The alkalinity, PH, Chlorine, Cyanuric Acid, and Calcium levels will all be checked by AB Pacific to help extend the longevity of both your pool and pool equipment.

Pump Basket Clearing

Pump Baskets often become clogged with smaller debris that slips through the pool skimmer. Debris will also accumulate in the basket each time the pool is vacuumend. Before we leave your home, that basket is checked and emptied, if needed. This keeps water circulation strong and the necessary chemicals flowing!

System Back Flushing

Your pool has a redundant ?catchment? system. By this we mean that there may be a certain amount of debris that makes their way into your pool. The skimmers are designed to catch the big debris before it gets to your pump. (Large debris and pumps do not get along well.)

Mechanical Maintenance

Mechanical Maintenance is also something that can be a mystery to the untrained ?do-it-yourself? technician. Let us take care of those needs for you as well. Our repair technicians have years of experience to keep your pool running smoothly.

What we look for ...

BACTERIA that can cause skin rashes, strep throat, and even herpes can be found in a pool that has not been well maintained. ALGAE are those tiny plants that can be green, yellow, red or brown and found growing your pool. They are often covered in a slime layer? that is a hiding place for bacteria. Some forms of algae can ingest calcium found in the water of your pool and guess where else? Right there in your plaster. That's right! Over time, and without proper care your plaster can become algae food! This could cost you a new plaster job but can easily be avoided with proper maintenance!

PH LEVELS are essential to controlling Scale-Forming Minerals that coat the pool surface with calcium. Keeping your PH at proper level is certainly one of the most important aspects of pool care. Proper PH levels prevent problems like excessive scale build up on your tiles, walls, steps, and red irritated eyes after swimming.

ALKALINITY is essential to proper pool care and relates directly to your PH levels. If your alkalinity is too low, your plaster may become stained and/or etched. Low alkalinity also corrodes the metals in your pumping equipment, greatly reducing its useful life.
