In most cases, the recovery process of a pool's clarity only takes a day or two. However, pools with more significant algae problems (as seen here) can take several days to a week to rectify. Usually this can be accomplished without the expensive option of having to completely drain and refill your pool. A complete drain and water replacement however, may at times be necessary.
Got Old Plaster?
AB Pacific has significantly improved and restored the color of dark and colored plaster pools that have been lightened by calcium staining. In many cases, pools here in the Kailua Kona area are susceptible to staining from calcium and Silica that is found in our tap water. We can see the initial stages of this staining as a white line on the tiles or rocks at the water level. While we cannot completely stop this process of staining, we can greatly reduce its progress as well as reverse a considerable amount of existing stains below the water line.
Brown Staining is a typical occurrence with pools having aged plaster as seen in this photo. The revolutionary process that we employ can, in most cases, eliminate this staining and return your plaster back to a white shine. At the very least you will notice a CONSIDERABLE difference!
Rust Stains can result from several factors. In most cases they are caused by fertilizer that has accidentally been distributed (or blown) into your pool water. As it settles to the bottom, the rust stains occur. AB Pacific can "spot" treat and illuminate these stains in most cases.
